I/O device error - problem with some files on hard drive

    i'm not able to copy/paste or remove some files inside one folder. i just did get new pc and new os - i had ME - now XP pro. i'm able to move other files in that hard drive and same type files as well. those are pretty big files and i don't have them nowhere else. it did not have problems before.

    please help!

    run chkdsk youll find it under properties on your hdd you may have a file error or a faulty drive
