i pod to tv

    hi i have an ipod 4 i want to what my vidios in my tv i bought a cable from my market with 3 jacks yellow red and wight with a usb and the bit to plug onto my i pod i thought this would be easy to do i connected every thing and it says apple dosent support this accessories so my freind downloaded jail break to my ipod and said thats it done and left me with it but its still the same i cant get anything on my tv from my i pod i have veetle on i pod i wanted to wach it on my tv thanks

    not sure about videos i played some songs off an ipod shuffle on my dvd player through a usb input.
