I seriously need help , now.

I modded my friends xbox. Everything was working fine , we woke up in the morning and it didnt work.It doesnt have a dashboard. The linux file isnt on the xbox anymore and I cant FTP it because I dont have a dashboard. The xbox gets stuck at the XBOX/Microsoft screen. I can still load games though. But , his dad is REALLY MAD. Please Help Me.

 

the only thing you can do now is hotswap. and copy ms dash to C drive again.

 

Okay , well , can you tell me how to hotswap? And if you do it by FTPing , then I cant do it because It dont have a dashboard , so It dont have an IP address.

 

First you need ms dash. you can get it from xbins or autoinstaller disk. Just save the ms dash on PC.

Then do the hotswap. follow the tutor in here.

After the pc can read the xbox hdd, copy ms dash to root of C.

 

the best way to solve your problem is to use xboxhdm_1.9 look for that in google and u can find it, i lost the link sorry .
with xboxhdm_1.9 u can fix your xbox but u need the eeprom, if you have that then its really eassy.
