I think im screwed... error 05 read up. Please help this is odd

Ok, so i was moving my xbox to a freind's house and it just stopped working and started to get error 05 message. I have the xecuter 2.6 lite with the solderless adapter, so anyways i still have my old hard drive so i put that player in scince some how my upgraded hard drive must have gotten unlocked or locked or whatever. It will now boot without the error message, but i cant get the evox to come up, i have all the swithches and i have thrown them in all of the random positions and none of them work. This sucks, it wont read slayers auto installer disc, my chip came pre-flashed and now i dont know what to do because none of the discs that lock or unlock work! i think somehow my bios got errased because i just always boot on the xbox no matter which one i try. Please help this is horrible.

 

well obviously you need to flash a new bios. maybe chip went bad?

 

I'm pretty sure you bios is not erased, rather your D0 wire came loose or your chip is misaligned and it's booting the origianl kernel(bios) therefore giving you an error 5(HDD needs to be locked) because you need to have a locked HDD for the MS dash and yours is unlocked.....Later
