im wanting to update the songs on my ipod but i tunes wont run it says some files are missing so i tried to uninstall it but the uninstaller wont run either, i have downloaded the latest itunes to try to update it but that wont install either because it says i dont have the permission log on as an administrator, but i am the administrator on my pc. can anyone help?
Hi - i am having the same problem. i recently installed office on my pc and now i can't get certain programs to work, one of which is itunes. the only way i can get it to work is with my ipod plugged in. i cant download any updates and can't get any shortcuts to work. i can't even uninstall programs now. any thought would be really helpful. thanks
themusic do you mean that you put on the itunes 7.0.1 or the 7.0.2? cause the itunes 7.0.1 has a glitch thats being posted everywhere. but the 7.0.2 is said to have fixed some problems, my best advice is look at the user acounts to make sure you are the administrator, and once you get that fixed, download (or redownload) the new itunes 7.0.2. give the file the same name as your recent itunes so it will write over the old one. try that.
