Since it's a laptop you won't be able to upgrade video cards, your stuck with the built-in Intel Integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics chip on the basic model, some of the more expensive inspiron 1545 have the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics chip (you can check under your display properties to see what you have.

Go to youtube and type in inspiron 1545 or even the graphics chip model and you will get an idea of what games it can run. The GMA can run COD4 and WOW.

But laptop graphic performance will never equal anything a desktop can produce.

Are you sure that it can run world of warcraft? I heard that you have to put the game on low settings or something like that. How do you do that? Any advice? Thanks

You're not going to be able to play WoW well on integrated graphics. It may work but it will be very unpleasant.

Reminds me of a guy asking on Yahoo!Answers about what "gaming" laptop he should buy, and every single one had the Intel GMA 4500MHD :p

I really didn't know where to start... So i told him they'd all run Crysis at minimum settings at 1 fps :D

    http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphic-Cards.13849.0.html

Despite that, it will actually manage a reasonable number of new games at minumum settings, and you can see that it gets an average of 37 fps in WoW at minimum.

yeah but at what, 600x400? Who wants that. Also, there's a marked difference between average and minimum frame rate.
