i was trying 2 reinstall evox, when i turn back on my xbox when error 16 pops up

i had my x box softmodded in mex and just recently found out how to make backups of my games. so i tried finding the setting option on the evox menu but it doesn´t have it. so i decided to try to reinstall evox using linux and splinter cell. i went to ude install and put replace for the first few options and told it to install evox, but when i turned it back on it displayed the error 16 message. now error 16 is a specific dashboard error or other files to do with dashboard / dashboard settings. but i don´t know what that means or what 2 do. so can somebody please help!!!! and thanx in advance!!!!
