I was wondering "mediforicly" if i wanted to burn a game, like starcraft for instance, do i need a special burner for it or can i use like a regular cd burner like Cd-r or Cd-rw or whatever. help out if you can. THX
do you mean "metaphorically"? in this case, i believe the actual word you want is "hypothetically". anyway, i'm assuming you're talking about pc games... you don't need any kind of special burner. however, to play burned games, you normally need some kind of crack. discussing cracks is against the forum rules, so that's as far as help goes here. for console games, you need some kind of mod. depending on the console, that may mean a swap disc, mod chip, memory card exploit, etc etc. *edit* if a game is on a cd, then 999 times out of 1000, it has to be burned on a cd to work; the same basic law is in effect for dvd-base games.
