I researched all I could and concluded that DVDclconer II was the top software. Unfortunately, I only found you guys after running onto functionality and CS problems with it. In any case, CS from Cloner II is useless. No replies or "just try an ealrier version" is about all I get. Nothing but problems with the software, mostly it tells me "can't fit on 1 DVD" and then tells me to split the DVD (moive only, small moives) and then prodcues DVD's that only have 5-10 seconds of movie, then more bits of the movie with no audio or no movie at all. I have been succesful making 3 or 4 movie only copies, but have half a trash can that demonstrates these were the exceptions.

Afer downloading earlier and earlier versions (2.6.4 to 2.6.2 to 2.5), the problems change, but "realiability" is elusive. I finally downloaedd the trial version of 1click DVD as the "second rated" copier. It works well (makes great copies of the same whole DVD that Cloner II said was too big to even try at "movie only".

OK, so 1 clcik is better and Cloner II has NO CS. Fine, however, before I spend another $60 on a second commerical program, is my experince with cloner II a figmenent of my own computer ineptness, or is this really a crappy program. If I'm doing somthing worng, I'd just as soon not spend more money. I want a program that is EASY and fast and "1 click". FYI, 1 click DVD made a movie-only copy in about 6 minutes! Full DVD in about 25 minutes (Lords of Dogtown). I'm impressed, but at another $60????

I've noticed these two "top rated" programs almost never come up in the forum (as I've looked around today). Did I completely miss the boat on this?

well i have 1click and i can tell u that u didnt make a copy of lodt without anydvd running in back. if u would like to try a free prog. heres what i would suggest. go to filepedia and dl dvdfabdecrypter and shrink. open decrypter and decrypt, be sure to remember where the file is. also u will have to select ur dvd burner under browse. then pull up the file with shrink, and tick backup at the top of screen. also remember u will need a burn engine like nero. i know this sounds like alot but after u do it 2 or 3 times u will see its pretty simple.the reason i suggested nero is shrink will use it automatically.

I did download the decrypter that seemed to be recommended by 1 click. I think it's name is DVD43 (or something like that).

I had just upgraded my Viao's DVD-R to a Memorex DVD-RW and it came with a bunch of Nero software. I'll check to see if it included the right software (whic by the way is what?).

yeah slysoft is the best out there. plus you get a discount if ur from ad i think its $10 or something like that. however the method i said is free and does sony across too. but i dont really blame u if u go with slysoft its the fastest, easiest, and has good quality. if i were u i would leave 1click alone for that price.

my two cents on 1click/cloner. i have used them both, 1click i still use it(the strongest ripper outthere, in my opinion. it has ripped discs that the other could not do)very simple, just love 1click. cloner is just SHIT.
