I recently came across IDE to USB 2.0 Adapters, but haven't found one that most people are pleased with. Does anybody know of any good adapters out there to hook up an IDE HD to USB?

I recommend the IcyBox IB-351, but I think it's only sold in europe.

I have the vantec ide/sata to usb adapter, paid less than 25.00 for it. I've been using it for almost 2 years and has run perfectly, I use it with IDE and also sata drives and is recognize on every computer I've connected it to (no drivers required).

Highly recommend you get the IDE/SATA instead of just an IDE only. You never know when you might need it, and the price difference is probably less than $5.00.
