   When I try to remove my IE 6 Service Pack, the repair IE dialog box comes up. I try to repair, but it doesn't repair. How can I remove IE 6 so I can reinstall?

   as you can see, it's next to impossible to remove IE without seriously impacting your entire windows OS. it can be done, but it's not for the faint-hearted.
