im having troubles installing ie7 on top of my ie6. its realy starting to tick me off. my problem is everything goes fine, my windows is validated, and all that junk then during the time where it installs core components, it stops and tells me it didnt install and i have to restart my computer and follow the troubleshoot created on my desktop. i followed all the steps i could and it still doesnt work. is there some common bug that everyone runs into? someone help me. i need a work around.
I had the samekind of problem, but it worked when i did not select dl updates when it ask that... Try that. Did you get that IE7 from auto-update or did you dl it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/default.mspx
sorry for the late reply. it still doesnt work. i tried the version from the windows automatic update, i tried manually downloading and installing it, and ive tried this google version. NONE WORKS. ie7 and windows has disappointed me so much. can anyone help? or do i just have to go on with firefox 2?
