If I run anyDVD, while burning with Nero, will the region restriction be removed?

I tried to burn and play a DVD on my Sony DVD player, and it said something about restricted, and region. I researched it a bit, and now have AnyDVD 6.1.6.0 (Full version). I was just wondering (before I waste another blank DVD) if this should work this time?

This seemed like the best place to ask.

Thanks in advance for any help you can contribute.:)

    Hi DiceyII

Yep AnyDVD will make the dvd and the drive region free.
But if this is like a PAL DVD and you're in a NTSC area it won't convert the dvd to NTSC.

Oh, ok, well, I guess I will find out if it's PAL when I burn it then, right? and it it was PAL, is there a way to convert it to NTSC?

What region is the DVD - or the country would help too.

Yes you can use Nero Vision to convert from PAL to NTSC.

The easiest and fastest way would be w/ vobblanker - this method works for most dvd players. link
