I received these files and others like them from a friend I can no longer contact. Anybody know what they're for? And are they safe? What opens this type of file? VIDEO_TS.BUP VIDEO_TS.IFO VIDEO_TS.VOB
These are ripped DVD files. They are for watching on your computer or burning to a DVD. You can open these files any number of ways, I prefer media player classic. For more information about VOB, IFO etc. take a look at the Glossary.
