i get as far as splitting the dvd to two disks. i select split to two dvd's and create new IFO files and also create subfolders (disk 1 & 2). then it starts copying the files. it completes copying them to folder 1 but then comes up with the error ( IFOedit has to close down).
what do you think i could be doing wrong?

Try changing the compatability for Ifoedit to 'Windows NT'. That should stop Ifoedit from crashing.

I'm not familiar with IFOEDIT but I'll take a stab in the dark, is it possible you are running low on diskspace and it can't copy the files?

Also check your IFOEDIT directory and see if it's generating any log or error files that might give a clue as to what is causing program termination.

Lastly, you said IFOEDIT95, is there a version number that goes along with that?

i think you might have hit the nail on the head there. i will free up some space on the hard drive and give it another go.
Ive looked to see if there is a version number and 0.95 is all i could find.
    also there was no log.
    thanks
i will give it a go and post a reply later.

Also a quick investigation shows a few possible bugs,
    1) IFOEDIT crashes with a negative delay of more than -40.
    2) Close and reopen IFOEDIT after doing a process??? <- saw this stated once.

    OK.
I Just tried to copy About a boy. i copyied it onto the hard drive, made a new folder clicked "strip Streams" and "create new info files". everything goes ok. then i startup infoeditor again select the new file and select "SPLIT TO 2 DVD's" & "CREATE NEW INFO FILES" & CREATE SUB FOLDERS.

it completes so much of it then it comes up with the close down error.

    what am i doing wrong
