I've gone through the whole process for avi to dvdr and when i get to the ifoedit part i cant locate my mpeg2 file it's stored in my shared folders , but only 3 items show up when i'm in ifoedit. anyone got any ideas ?
Next time, create folders for your work on your desktop where you know where they are - name them so that they are easy to find ) Don't feel bad, we all have made the exact same mistake, somewhere there a ton of files in cyberland - Kind of like the lost world of washer/dryer socks Pete PS. look for them by date -
LMAO , but Pete is right ! it would seem people forget where the folders are all the time I have a few empty folder sitting on partitions of my HDDs titled VTS_01 / VTS_02 etc. P.S. What is IFOedit being used for ? I would use TMPGEnc DVD Author for mpeg2 to VOB conversion myself : ]-~
the file is in ''my shared folders '' it's just that when i open my shared folders while i'm in ifoedit that it's not there along with most of the stuff i have in that folder , any ideas ?
Name an empty folder [bold]IFOedit[/bold] then and only save projects done by that software to that folder Most people here have probably moved on 'or' use different software [as IFOedit hasn't been supported for some time now]... Dunno if you're using WinXP (?) http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd_page_5.cfm
Well who's to know what kind of avi file you downloaded bafled (?) Check the original source file with [bold]G-Spot [/bold]
