    Update your firmware for your burner to 1.24

    you're using too much RAM .... shut down all unnecessary programs running in the background, do not multi task, no internet, and even shut down your anti virus programs while burning.

    you are using crappy media.... try some Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim disks. Using good media stops many problems! when you're having problems you can't count out the media that you are using even if it worked before for you! Crappy media will eventually cause you problems! You won't have any problems using Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim! at least these disks won't be your problem!

    use a better version of Nero:
    Save your serial # then uninstall Nero!
    Use the cleaning tool: Nero7 Clean tool http://www.nero.com/enu/support-nero7-tools-utilities.html
    do a registry clean up using this free cleaner: CCleaner:
    http://www.ccleaner.com/download
    then do a defrag and reboot!

    now reinstall Nero 7.10.1.0: http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?2893

    **030C00 Write error
    There are many cases where there is a problem with the disc, or information cannot be retrieved from the disc properly. The PC may be unstable or try a new disc.

    hope this helps..... good luck..... welcome to afterdawn.

    @Rotary,

    That depends on the particular version of Nero that is being used, so do ...some dont.

    7.2.7.0 wasn't one of the "good" versions
