Nero 6.6.1.4 contains some bugs. Uninstall and run this clean tool and then install this more stable version U need more memorey or turn off some other stuff. U may need better media or your burner may not like the discs you use Edit I dont care for Nero. I would use Decrypter or Imgburn. You need a firmware update for the NEC ND-3520A There is a version 3.07
Wont flash? Did u read the Steps to update the firmware on the NEC DVD RW drive page I did not say it was bad. I said there are better and maybe it does not work well for the NEC. Media With the old firmware 16x media may not be the best choice. Most here would tell you not to burn at more than 4x to 8x. Edit
Is that using the same exact NEC 3520 drive on that other pc,or you have an NEC 3520 on both pcs with exact same firmware version,or a totally different burner on that other pc that did burn those crappy Daxons? Different burners prefer different media. What works in 1 drive may not in other. [bold]Failed at 2.4x?[/bold] Up the speed to 4x on them. Some 16x media performs worse at the slowest burn speeds. Since your drive is giving a no disc error, its firmware version will not allow your drive to burn that specific MID coded media. If latest firmware version didn't help, then possibly the manufacturer hasn't issued a newer update for a while or the media is so crappy, they don't recommend that drive to try to burn them-so that illegal disc error will pop up. Try some verbatim 16x. Bestbuy has a good sale coming up sunday. Spindles of 50 for under $13. That's probably a lot cheaper than you paid for those daxons?
I have tried all the things that you said but it doesnt work. I think I have to give up sorry for bad english
