I have been trying to backup a disk with Nero 8. I keep getting an illegal disk error. I have tried using my old Pioneer 106d and got a device not available error. Here is the log from the illegal disk. Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure how to turn on the DMA, I will look around. I have been using this same media for a very long time with no problems.

I have Vista so my device manager is a little different than the screen shots on the website, however I did find my drive under NVIDIA nForce serial ATA controller in port 2 and DMA mode is checked.

I bought some Ritek disks and all seems well so far, have only burned one disk but that's one more than I got to work before.
