i have seen where alot of people have had alot of problems with their ilo recorder i took my first one back to walmart because of the humming sound i mentioned earlier , the next one did the same thing but i have finally found a solution mentined earlier for the humming . my ilo copies good i have had once in a while where it doesen't recognize a disk (my cyberhome 1500 did the same thing . )all in all i like the way the ilo works , i have copied off other older vhs (that i am transfering over to dvd . ) so maybe its a hit and miss on the ilo , i don't know . jst am glad i am not having as mush problems as other have .
