I'm having a frustrating experience with the ILO dvd recorder. When I playback the recorded dvd, the low frequency sounds (especially music) has an annoying warble to it. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, is there any solution? Thanks.
I've bought two of the Ilos over the Christmas holiday, both had a horrible low frequency hum in the audio when set on the TV Tuner mode. All other modes were clear of any hum. I checked the wiring to the sound system, I even moved the Ilo over and hooked it up to the VCR wiring which had no hum, but when the Ilo was hooked up, it had hum regardless of where I put it. Outside of the hum, the units have both worked fine. For the record, the Ilo and the CyberHome units are exactly the same. They have the same circuitry, the same cabinets, the same remote controls and... THE SAME HUM!! Produced at the same plant.
