I recorded a movie from Satellite and accidently ejected the DVD before I finalized it. Now it won't give me the option to finalize. Any way around this? thanks in advance.

Is the 05 a ZU or MU/MU1 If a ZU take it back. Don't even fool with it and exchange it for the MU or MU1

Was the disk a +R or a +RW disk. The +RW is not finalized. If a +R it should give the option to finalize in edit, page 18/19 in the manual. Even if removed prior to finalizing, it should accept it. If not take it back and exchange it for another

How can I tell? The model # says DVDR05, no other insignia

It was a +R disk. I have taken 2 back to Walmart already, I don't know if they'll let me do it again. Maybe I should get a different brand. Starting to think Ilo is junk.

The model # should be on a small white tag on the box and the machine, usualy on the machine rear.
I had all the 05 units the ZU,MU,MU1. The MU an MU1 are both good units and have features the ZU didn't. I had no problems with them.
I doubt that its a ZU but if it is take it back and get a MU or MU1

I had an MU. I ended up returning mine for an MU1. Audio was "slurred" Bummer.

Supposedly, the MU1 took care of all the bugs. Mine has been working fine for 3 months and counting.
