I was just looking around the WalMart website and was reading about the ilo DVDR05 they have now. The following is copied from their description. I just bought one of these units 3 weeks ago and it says it only records on the dvd+ format. Any ideas?? This ILO DVD Recorder solves the confusing issue of multiple recording formats. My Mu1 does record on the (-) format. The tech support guy I got the latest firmware froma said they have figured it IS (-) compatible; but they don't have enough test data in to be able to advertise this fact. You can kinda say it "unofficially" supports (-). My first attempt failed.... I edited out a section of the recording... finalized an RW, and then unfinalized it. My second attempt was a success. All I did was rename the title.
