I'm having another problem with my Ilo. The recorder refuses to recognize any new DVD-R disks except those made by Memorex. These are new disk that I recently purchased for recording. I tried Verbatum, and another brand and both failed to be read. On the other hand, when I try a Memorex DVD-R, it accepts and prepares it for recording. Does anyone know if these other disk require some form of formatting? It doesn't make sense why they are being refused by the recorder. Any assistance is appreciated.
As I said in your other post you must use DVD+(plus)R or DVD+(plus)RW disks. I have used Phillips disks with no problems. Read the recomended media at there web site.
