    1. I first had trouble downloading my CDs and my free downloads to the player. They would load on but the player would not recognize any files. I finally figured out that when I sync with WMP it put it all in folders and my player does not work with folders. I had to put them on by dragging every song or album to my E drive, which is the MP3 player. This would load the player without created folders. This is only a 1G player so that method works just fine.

    2. So I got that figured out and then bought 15 tracks from NAPSTER. They play on my computer just fine. They are WMA files just like the other files that worked on my MP3.

3 I placed them on my MP3 player just like I did the other ones. The player DOES recognize the files, but WILL NOT PLAY THEM. It just sits there with a STOP icon and cannot even forward to the next track. The player recognizes the files, identifies the artist, album and all that but will not play the tunes. I use my computer to look at the files in the memory and cannot find a difference.

    ANY IDEAS?????????

Files downloaded from Napster have DRM protection implemented which explains why you can't get it to work on your MP3 player.

More developments but have no idea what is going on.

It is not just Napster but any of my songs (Mapster, Wal-Mart, Ripped CDs

It works part of the time when I use WMP to sync. I thought it had to do with folders that WMP created (since I foound a note in my player's instructions that says it does not support folders and playlists)

Then I thought it was only Napster. Now I have discovered that some of the songs that WMP syncs onto my player works in a folder and some don't.

If I manually drap and drop all music files from my C drive to my E drive then it works.

This does not seem like the best method.....any ideas
