OK heres the run down - hope I give all the info needed for someone out there to be able to help me.

    I have the following software:
    Dvdcloner II
    WinAVI converter
    DivXtoDVD
    Nero
    DVD Shrink

And with all of this I still cant get my downloaded movies to burn to a dvd that will play in my player.

Here's what Ive tried. I downloaded the movies in AVI format and converted them using WinAVI converter into a DVD format. This gives me a folder on my desktop named DVD_0 which contains subfolders named Audio_TS and Video_TS. I have tried to burn them using Nero-which was a no go. I tried burning them with the burn option on WinAVI and it burned but wont play in my players - We have 2 one thats a year old and one thats 4 mo's old. Both give me a "Disc Error"

    HELP!!!

    ---update---

Ok so I went in and converted two short movies with WinAVI. Saved them to my desktop and went to Nero to "create a movie", added the converted files and burned it to a disc .... It worked ALMOST perfectly. One problem, there wasnt any sound :( I went in and looked and there are no files in the Audio_TS file. So what did I do wrong? There's sound when I play the movie on my pc - why are there no files in the Audio_TS files?

    HHHHEEEELLLLLPPPPPP!!!

OK...Your Sound Problem is Probably due to the Fact the the audio in your AVI File is Probably VBR MP3 Format and this Format will allways either Not show up at all after converting or it will be Badly out of Sync...

To Solve this Problem you must decompress the audio in your AVI File before you encode the AVI file to Mpeg-2/DVD Format...

If you Run your AVI files through this Tool it will decompress the audio for you in your AVI files and solve the audio Problem...

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=J7HNW11I

Also when Burning a "Video_TS" Folder to DVD In Nero you Have to make sure you select the "DVD Video" Burning Mode or it won"t work and the "Audio_TS" folder is supposed to be Empty....

If you Burn DVD"s that Burn successfully But will not play in your Standalone DVD Players then it could be From Burning at too High of a Speed...You should ALLWAYS Burn your Movie DVD"s at the Lowest Possible speed the Media Supports because Burning too Fast causes excessive Burn errors which will cause the DVD to Become Unplayable OR it will Only Play for a Short Time then Freeze up on you.....

So Make sure you decompress the audio in your AVI files before converting them to DVD format and Make sure you Burn your "Video_TS" Folders in "DVD Video" Mode and that you Burn at the Slowest Possible Speed ....If you doo all of this that your problems should be Solved....

    Cheers
