i've had a panasonic mp3/cdplayer for about a year now and ive liked the amount of bass i got with the headphones. but now, i have an IPOD MINI, and the bass is all distorted. not just the base, but alot of the songs have distortion. ive been useing the same headphones. can someone tell me if if it's just the ipod, or the headphones?
It could be both. If you are using a low bitrate encoding, that could be the problem. Also if your phones have a high impedance, then the ipod might not be able to drive them.
