can someone help me with zonealarm as i have been getting problems with certain sites not being displayed & certain programs not being able to recieve connections since installing zonealarm pro.. [bold]im even thinking of uninstalling it & just using windows firewall :-([/bold] [bold]any help is appreciated, Thanks[/bold]
Concerning some programs which can't get connection,you can try open ZA and go to program control.Go to programs tab and in the trust level column,check if the programs are selected as super or trusted(you just need to click one time on it and a small box will appear where you will see super,trusted,restricted,ask and kill.If these are programs you trust you can put them as super or trusted. I myself has just started using ZA. But one thing i would like to know,in your windows task manager,what is the memory usage for vsmon.exe(it's for ZA)as mine gets higher as my pc stays on longer(around 18,000k when pc just turns on but climbs up to approx.41,000k when pc remains on after 1 day 22 hours). Let me know about that. Vincent.
