The url below is for a free burning software,it does contain a little window on bott right for ads, kinda like the free version of DAP,burn4 free can be downloaded from cnet also.

    http://www.burn4free.com/

or just google for and sign up for their software release newsletters at the sites below
    freeware files
    download.com
    pc world downloads

beware when installing shareware, and it would'nt hurt to quickly scan the ULA of freeware ,tho for the above three listed i've never had any issues with their software

Go to the media player section.

If would help if you could tell us what type of CD burning you plan to do as freeware apps normally do one main thing very well, unlike a CD burning software suite like Nero.

Im looking for Cd Burning software to use to create Cd's from Mp3 files that are on my Pc which I downloaded from Limewire etc.

I used to have 1 on my pc that I had borrowed from a friend but once I re-formatted I lost the program and need another 1. I have found that doing a Google search for them causes me to get Virus's so ive stopped doing that.

Im looking for something that is NOT a trial version such as a 30 day limit.

Here's some web sites for you to search. Among them there's plenty of FREE software.

    bitburners.com
    filepedia.com
    filehippo.com
    burningbits.com

You will have to go and search these sites for the software you want, or you can wait till your friend loans you his program again!!

i use this , http://www.poikosoft.com/ it may say 30 trail but you can keep using it for as long as you want ....
if you did buy it you will get updates but it doesnt really matter as the trail version does it all anyway and it does cue files as well as ripping and converting all type of files ....and very easy to use ....
