    Hi there ,

I have burned 3 ~ 5 DVD+R DL 's and lost a lot of hair in the process.
I guess what I want to ask is, why has this happened , I have a brand new computer core 2 duo etc. High specs and windows xp. The problem is
Nero.. I guess what I want to ask is , I want the second best thing in burn software or no more money lost when burning DL 's

    Thank you very much

Take Ms Varnull's advice and burn those Verbatim(I hope) DLs at 2.4X I use AnyDVD and just build the ISO file and let ImgBurn select the layer break-you actually decide but use the best one it offers. Then write the ISO with ImgBurn. What discs are you using? The brand of DLs is important. Don't waste money on other than Verbatim.

And I don't recommend burning DL Verbs at 6X or 8X, use 2.4X and leave the pc be, while it's burning!

Edit: you can burn the TY and Verb single layer( DVD5)discs at 8X or 16X tho.

plus Taiyo Yuden doesn't make DVD+R DL media

yes using Verbatim burning at 2.4x or 4x max is recommed using imgburn.

also make sure you have the most up to date firmware for your drive/burner,check here
