i have a belkin category 5e cross over cable and set up the connection on my windows 98 and it loads for about five minutes and then it says the server timed out. Any idea wats wrong, because it says right on the package that it is a x-over cable and that it is perfect for gaming
one of friends suggested that and i did but after i cant figure out how to set up connection. i made it a tc/ip and when i click finis it say that their isnt a connection or somethin like that. can you give me step by step instructions on what to do i can ftp i just cant get the network to work
Make sure you have all the correct settings and that you have made a share between pc + xbox. there are plenty of tuts on this site to help with this just do a search on here.
