My step-father bought this DVD/CD Burner. Some LiteOn thing from Wal-Mart. It's probably no good but oh well. He can't use it. So here I am. I'm having no trouble with the CD Burner. I've been doing that for years. The DVD burning is something else. I've downloaded DVD Shrink, and DVD Decrypter. I thought I'd be able to burn with this but guess not. When CopyToDVD is installed I'll be able to burn a playable DVD right? Help I'm so confused.

Please do some homework AD has great guides to get you started . Liteon burners are damn good. There are programs you must use to make movies because they have blocks in then, you just can't burn movies like you burn CD's

I'm new also, Gwen is pointing you in the right direction. Be sure to get "RipIt4Me", it makes it incredibly easy. I thnk you will need to do an internet search for the Ripit, for some reason it is never linked in the posts here.

Don't use the toothpaste on a dvd you get from the library! It leaves marks ....now I have to explain why I cleaned a DVD that clearly haas a red label that says "DO NOT CLEAN". Although it plays fine after the cleaning...I may have to pay for it..boo hoo
