Ok, after reading for 3 hours I learned about an iso that I picked up. I have SlaYers_EvoX_Auto-Installer_v2.6FINAL.iso I try to burn it to a disk and nothing seems to happen. I have the Xecuter3 CE mod chip and I added a 300gb HD. I was able to flash the bios from 3.0.1 to 3.0.3. But this is as far as I got... Can someone please provide me with detailed instructions on how I should proceed? Do I need to use a different kind of disk? I just dont get why I cant make this work...and REALLY I have been reading and researching for hours! Thanks in advance for the help!
try burning the iso with dvddecrypter.....if it's still in iso format it should be simple. Also,if the media (disk) that you are using can't be read by your xbox dvd drive,then that could be a problem too. Try burning the slayers disk to another type of media....if you have a dvdrw around that you know works you could try that. Either way,you are going to want to boot to the disk...once you get that,it's all gravy. You could also try ftping the files over to your xbox through the livedash that the chip has.....but if this is your first time the autoinstaller might be best. Then once you have everything installed...browse around your xbox drives and see what's all there and where they are. It's a good idea to get used to the layout.
