Hi All, I bought a Sony Handycam when I was a PC user, now that I have a Mac the mini-dvd's can't be put into my DVD drive.

Is an external DVD burner the right solution?

I know nothing about MACs (wouldn't have one), but how do the DVD drives differ from one in a PC? I wouldn't think that there would be any difference at all.

Ahhhh. I never thought of that. If I recall correctly, I think that Samsung made a DVD slot loading burner, for the i-MAC, that did support the miniDVD's.

Don't hold me to that, though. The memory fades a bit, once one is past 40...err 50...err almost 60. :)
