I am having a problem with Image Burn (I think). When the program gets to "synchronise cache" it stops and I get the following message:

    Synchronise Cache Failed
    Device: [1:0:0]LITE-ON DVD R-W LH-2AIH LLOG (E:) (ATA)
Reason: Program Memory Area Update Failure

IF I click on retry it cycles the tray but then says "device not ready (reference point not found)

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling ImageBurn but I still get the same message. If I try running the new DVD in my DVD player it goes a little ways and locks up.

I have tried three different movies and have gotten the same result.

All of these are older movies and I have never had a problem come up like this until just now. Everything has worked perfect until this.

    Thanks for the help!!!!!

Does the log give more information?
Perhaps you changed your brand of disk?

this might have something to do with that error...you only have 256K of ram...you should have no other programs running while burning.

it would be a huge help if you added another stick of 256 or even more ram, but you can try closing all other programs so they dont take up as much ram.
