    Hi,
I am wondering how to convert a Cd-Image(nrg) to a dvd image to be able to burn it to dvd-r. The image is a cd-image but is 801Mb, so I cant burn it to cdr. I have tried using UltraIso, but to no avail. If anybody can help me out, that would be great!!

    Hi,
Whats in the image file? Is it data or video?

You could mount the image using Daemon tools and do some manipulation if needed.

Although it seems small for a DVD, are you sure it is a CD image?

    cheers.

    Hey thanks for the reply!!
I tried using Daemon and it does load up the image, but I dont know where to go from there. I know its a cd-image because I own Alcohol120% and when I try to burn it to dvd-r the way it is, it gives me the message that the wrong media is in the burner and tells me it needs a cdr to burn it, then when I insert a cdr, it then tells me that there is not enough disc space on the cdr to burn it. I know they dont make any cdr's that are 800mb, so i figure convert the image to dvd type and i know there is a way to do it, but i dont know how.

    Hi,
If it is a cd image it could be an image of a 90min cd (800mb), maybe you should get one and try that.

Only other thing I can suggest is the damon tools method, mount th image, extract the video/data, modify it or recompress if video and then burn.

    cheers.
