Forgive me if this is an elementary question, but when I go to some websites using internet explorer some of the images their do not download or appear. Instead there is just the square outline of the picture and the red 'X' in the top left hand corner. How do I fix this? Thank you.
In Internet Explorer go to Tools > Internet Options, select the Advanced tab, scroll down the list to Multimedia and make sure that ‘Show image download placeholders’ is unchecked and ‘Show Pictures’ is checked.
Try a reboot - that sometimes sorts things out - or It could be your Firewall and/or anti virus programs. Switch them off and see if that makes any difference. Run a Malware check using AdAware, SpyBot and MS AntiSpyware. If that doesn't work try Firefox - if that works ok maybe its Internet Explorer thats giving probs - if so uninstall it then re-install the latest version.
