I just downloaded ImgBurn from here after reading multiple reviews saying that it was better than anything on the market. Well, I have an avi file I want to burn DL to be viewed on a conventional DVD player, and I don't see how do to that with ImgBurn. Does it encode AVI files or do I need to use another program to do so and then use ImgBurn to make the disc? Right now I'm using Nero Vision to burn video files and I'm getting skipping (although the disc and player are completely clean) occasionally or sometimes audio sync problems.
Imgburn doesn't have that capability. Give DVD Flick a whirl. http://members.home.nl/meuwissenth/dvdflick_setup_1.3.0.0_beta.exe
I get a message that says: "An error occured during startup. Number 339 from prjDVDFlick: Component 'mscomct2.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered or invalid Last DLL error: 0"
Download this file and save it to your desktop. http://www.ascentive.com/support/new/images/lib/MSCOMCT2.OCX Click on Start and then Run. Type in regsvr32 \windows\system32\MSCOMCT2.OCX. Press Enter or click OK. You should get a message DllRegisterServer in windows\system32\MSCOMC2.OCX succeeded. Try running DVD Flick again...
