Anyone know if there is any software which will improve the sound quality of divx movies, that ive downloaded, that are obviously recorded by a camera in the cinema. Movie would be good quality if there wasn't such an echo on it.
    Cheers

Not really heard of DivX cam releases. What you probably have is a VCD cam re-encode by TMD or similar with the audio sample rate cut in half.

Best way to improve the audio quality? Delete it and download something decent.

    LOL.

    Celtic,

Couldnt he use Virtual Dub and put the audio in full processing mode to get a full sample rate?

Sure, same as I could take a 100pixel thumbnail, blow it up and print it as an A3 poster. It might fill the poster, but it is just going to look like a blown up pixely thumbnail.

Once you resample the audio, the damage is done. Beside the original VCD cam audio probably wasn't too special anyway.
