in car dvd

    help please,
    i have a touch screen dvd player in my car and the screen has
    gone dim you cant see anything in daylight
    any ideas???

    Without knowing the system make and model# I can tell you this. Most of the newer car systems, whether dvd or navigation, have in the settings menu daylight, nightlite, brightness levels. Some of the new ones even have automatic settings. If I knew more about your player I can help more.

    player is lm7508dvd
    its a two din dvd
    6 inch touch screen colour display
    i think it is an import??

    Sup,
    is this a stock unit or after market? do you know what brand? Also it could be something as simple as your dimmer settings

    That Unite is made by a company called Lm Digital, I believe it has aDimmer Controlls Contrast and Brightness you want to check all of them. Hope this Helps

    still no joy with dvd,checked all settings,
    took it to a bloke who said it is probably the ribbon,
    been onto manufacturer but my chinese isnt that good :)
    i will get there in the end i will keep posted,
