I have about 80 music videos in mpeg format that I want 2 burn 2 dvd. I used Windows Movie Maker (its easier 4 me) to create the playlist & saved the file as a AVI. That file is 4.1gb. I then used WinAvi to create a VOB so I could burn. (I've dont this a million times in this same process & it worked fine, but I was dealing with 500mb-1.5gb files. I think Im having a problem b/c I now have a 4gb file.) BTW, The file plays fine with any player that I've used. Anyway, WinAvi turned my 4.1gb avi into a 6.5gb VOB. Of course I cant burn that 2 a standard dvd so I dont know where 2 go from here. Any help would be appreciated......
I don't know. You could try to split the AVI into two using VirtualDub (look on http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/). Or you could try to fit all in a DVD applying DVD Shrink to the 6 GB VOB, to reduce its size, if you're too much interested in keeping 100% of the original quality...
Corrupt VOB? Try to load from only the #2 VOB (move #1 in another directory). You might try to convert to (S)VCD mpeg a part (till TMPGenc stops) of the corrupt VOB with DVD2AVI+TMPGenc (http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd2vcd_with_smart_dvd2avi_tmpgenc.cfm from http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd2vcd_with_smart_dvd2avi_tmpgenc_page_3.cfm) ...
