I have converted several files from avi to mpeg, then from mpeg to dvd and burnt them off. The problem is they will not play on my dvd player, whereas other copies i have bought will. My player picks up that its a dvd and plays a very washy sound, and no picture. What am i doing different/wrong that makes my burns different?
If this has already been dealt with before, could someone please point me in the right direction to the thread for it, many thanks
Could be the blank discs you are using. I use DVD RB pro, and on my first burns I used Fujifilm DVD-R disks which were a bit shaky, especially at the start. I then used Verbatim DVD-R and the quality is a lot better. It might help also if you burn at half your disc max speed.
