Trying to format a rewritable disk. Tried at least 8 disks and only one fomatted. Kicks out after about 90% through. Get the error message: Disc error code 0051-0003-000c-0000. Am I dealing with bad disks What does it mean and how do I correct.
Hello all, Just read your post on long or no format using nero's incd ! Been there done that...........wound up removing incd and reinstalling adaptec's [not roxio] direct cd, and my old plextor 4/8/32 cd-rw drive. I really like packet writing. i also have a dominator 52/32/52 for using nero express and nero burning rom, which co-exists with adaptec direct cd. most importantly re the problem of no formatting with incd..............i am sure i have read somewhere the reason many of us who encountered this formatting problem have mobo's with via chipsets and nero's incd is not compatble with..........this info as i recall took a lot of digging to find. can anyone else verify and possibly elborate on this ?
