increase ram on pc

    Hi, my laptop is running very slowly at the moment and crashing all the time. I am wondering if increasing ram would help. I am not technically minded so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    what windows & sp are you using? how much ram do you have now & what is available? what size hard drive do you have & how much is free? what is the make & model# of the laptop?

    Lack of RAM will slow a system, but should not crash it. You have other problems.
