Having upgraded to a 3GS I gave my wife my old 3G. Within a few days o2 contacted her saying her bill was €450 !! Her usual bill on her Nokia was €35 per month. She was shocked. Arguing her case the o2 person dropped the bill by 50% to €253. However, I still think this is crazy. We have WiFi at home and same for her at work. o2 allege the cost was incurred last Sunday morning at 7am and again yesterday. She was at home at these times and would have been on WiFi. Any one else encounter this horror ? Data usage on the phone is Sent 1.3MB Received 46.8 MB
Take it outside and hit it hard with a hammer.. take pictures of the wreckage.. cancel your contract. When they bill you again produce the pictures>> make sure they are dated with that days paper underneath.. good proof is mail prints to yourself unopened.. the postmark proves the date.... and let them take you to court for the money XD
