Inner ring on DVD-R`s stopping playback

    I`ve started to get inner rings on DVD-R`s using DVD Decrypter and nero 6, would anyone know why this is and how to stop this ring from appearing on the backedup DVDs that i have. The ring is about 3mm out from the inner data edge and is stopping all backedup copies at the momment apart from playing on the pionner 106. Is there a DVD Decrypter setting that would remove this ring.

    Oops, i forgot to say that i use DVD Shrink v3 beta 5 to shink the data to fit on a DVD-R.

    It'll (probably) be due to write speed or the media used.
    It is usually one or both of these , but of course I know nothing of process you used for back ups.. (?)
