installed windows 7...media player has no audio with dvds

    hi, I tried downloading the community codecs pack but that didn't work. Any suggestions? thanks

    Need more info to go on.
    If you're talking about Windows Media Player, i don't use it though it does work. I personally only use the K-Lite Mega Codec pack, have done for many years under XP and it works perfectly under Win7 too.
