When you install Vista make sure you do your window updates after that and see if it can find the driver you need. If that does not work right click on My Computer and then go to manage and then go to your device manager and then see if your sound drivers have a yellow symbol on them or any other devices if so then just right click on the device and click update driver and make sure your connected to the net and make sure when it asks you where do u want to search include online search as well for the drivers.
