Hi sorry if this has been covered before but i searched and couldnt find anything i have just bought an artec 12x dvd +-re-writer i have undone my pc fitted the hardware now i already have a dvd player and a cd re-writer in ther on an ide cable i have unplugged the cdrw and plugged into dvdrw but when i re-boot pc it tells me in red writing that the slave has to become the master have i broke my pc (knew i should stick to women) or can this be rectified also can i connect all 3 in any way. cheers for any help
Make sure you check the jumpers are set right on the back of each drive for the position you install them on the IDE cable. Jerry
