Hey, Fairbanx, maybe you can get some help with a more carefully worded message. Not sure what your problem is, even though I read it several times. Also, lose the ALL CAPS and use a little punctuation.

As far as two burners, should be a problem how you set it up (although your drive letter assignment is a bit unusual). Having said that, it's my personal opinion that Memorex anything is none too good when it comes to opticals (DVD burners/players/or media).

We like to use basic grammar & punctuation here. It makes it much easier to read & subsequently help. Politeness helps too.

Bottom line is that you have some program running that is interfering with the master drive. try cutting your connection to the internet and shutting down your virus protetor, then running a nice spam/spyware program. Turn off all non essential stuff, kill roxio (if you have it) and ctrl/alt/delete to kill any itunes stuff you have running under "processes".

If that doesn't work, you could try a reboot with selective startup to see what's going on. If you cannot figure it out, you have three options. You could decide the drive is bad and exchange it for a new one (possisble, if unlikely), reinstall windows (likely to work, but not 100%), or live with it. Others might be able to help you more.
